February 2024: How are you spending your Bonus Day?

This year's got a BONUS day!

How are you going to spend your next 24 hours?  

One of the questions always asked is why is it called a Leap Year?  

The Earth's orbit around the Sun is not a perfect amount of time.  It actually takes 365 and 1/4 days to complete a full revolution.  So that our calendars and world workings don't get confused with that extra quarter of a day, one whole day is added every four years - in February.  But that still didn't answer the question....  Why a Leap Year?  

If your Birthday falls on a Monday, in theory, it should fall on a Tuesday the following year.  On a Leap Year, because of the extra day added, your birthday will leap over that Tuesday and actually fall on that Wednesday - hence a LEAP!

Take this bonus day to reflect on what you love about your cruise vacations and how we can enhance your next one.  Maybe give another cruise line a try, or cruise to a location you have not been before, or select a dining time or venue that is different from what you are used to.
